Philadelphia, PA

Faculty: Lynne Lechter, Esq., Ernest Sasso, Esq., Margaret M Cassidy, Esq.
Course planner: J. Michael Considine, Jr., Esq.

International business ethics attempts to deal with questions of what to do in situations where ethical morals come into conflict as a result of the differing cultural and legal practices. Corporate governance, bribery, corruption, working conditions and targeted marketing are all issues that require organizations to establish an ethical standpoint from which they can work. Ethical behavior establishes a healthy and pleasant cooperation climate for all the parties involved in a deal, making everyone comfortable with each other. Acting in accordance with moral values is crucial for deserving clients, attention and support and achieving a significant competitive advantage in a particular market segment and ensuring sustainable development.

As the process of globalization has increased its pace and depth, the problem and need for international business ethics has only intensified.
